Narrated Ibn `Abbas RadiyAllahu Anhu: I never saw the Prophet (ﷺ) seeking to fast on a day more (preferable to him) than this day, the day of 'Ashura', or this month, i.e. the month of Ramadan.

Urdu Translation: Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas RadiyAllahu Anhuma Farmate hain ke Main ne Nahin dekha ke RasoolAllah ﷺ Dinon mein se Daswen Muharram (Yaume Ashura) aur Mahinon mein se Maahe Ramadan ke Rozon ke siwa kisi aur Din ke Roze ka khaas Tor par Ehtemam Farmate hon.

RasoolAllah ﷺ ne Irshad Farmaya: “Mujhe Allah ki Zaat Pe Yaqeen hai ke wo Yaume Ashura (10 Muharram Al-Haram) ke Roze ko Guzashta Saal ke Gunahon Ka Kaffarah Bana Dega.” (Sahih Muslim: 2803, 2746)

Yahood o Nasara bhi is Din ki Bahot Tazeem karte Hain, Aap ﷺ ne Irshad Farmaya: “Jab Agla saal Aayega to ham (Yahood o Nasara ki Mushabihat se Bachne ke Liye) In'sha'Allah Nawe (9) Tareekh ka Rozah bhi Rakhenge, Hazrat Ibn Abbas Farmate Hain ke Agla saal Aane se Pehle hi RasoolAllah ﷺ Dunya se Tashreef le Gaye. The Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: "I seek from Allah that fasting on the day of Ashura may atone for the sins of the preceding year."

Ibn 'Abbas RadiyAllahu Anhu reported that when the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) fasted on the day of 'Ashura and commanded that it should he observed as a fast, they (his Companions) said to him: Messenger of Allah, it is a day which the Jews and Christians hold in high esteem. Thereupon the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said: When the next year comes, God willing, we would observe fast on the 9th But the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) died before the advent of the next year."

⇨ "Haqiqat ye hai ke Allah ke Nazdeek Maheenon ki Ta’dad 12 Mahine hai jo Allah Ki Kitab (Lohe Mahfooz) ke Mutabiq us din se Nafiz chali Aarahi hai Jis din Allah Ne Aasman aur Zameen ko Paida kiya tha, in (12 Mahinon) mein 4 Mahine (Dhul Qa’dah, Dhul Hijjah, Muharram aur Rajab) Wajib ul Ehteram hain, Yahi Deen (ka) Seedha Sadah (Taqaza) hai, Lehaza in Mahinon ke Muamle Mein (Baham Jang kar ke) Apni Janon Par Zulm na karo.” (Quran Surah At-Tawbah: 36)
⇨ "Verily, the number of months with Allah is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allah on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred, (i.e. the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islamic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein, and fight against the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) collectively, as they fight against you collectively. But know that Allah is with those who are Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2).

Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As RadiyAllahu Anhu: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) cursed the one who bribes and the one who takes bribe.”

Muharram Al-Haram ka Chand Nazar Aate hi Naye Islami Saal 1439 Hijri ka Aaghaz bhi Ho gaya.
●◗► Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala Is Saal ko Tamam Musalmanon ke liye Khiar o Barkat aur Urooj o Taraqqi ka Zariya Banaye. (Aameen)
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ
Tarjumah: “Aye Allah Jin Nematon ke Sath Meri ya Teri Makhlooqat mein se Kisi ki bhi Subah hui hai wo Sab Nematen Aap ki Ata kardah hain, Aap wo Wahdahu La Shareek Zaat hain, Aap hi ke liye Tareef hai aur Aap hi ke liye Shukr hai.”

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If anyone says in the morning:
اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَكَ فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ
"O Allah! whatever favour has come to me, it comes from Thee alone Who has no partner; to Thee praise is due and thanksgiving,'! he will have expressed full thanksgiving for the day; and if anyone says the same in the evening, he will have expressed full thanksgiving for the night.

Abdullah bin Hisham RadiyAllahu Anhu se Riwayat hai ke Sahaba Karam RadiyAllahu Anhum Ajmayeen Naye Saal ya Maheene ki Aamad Pe Ye Dua Sikhate the:
اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالأَمْنِ ، وَالإِيمَانِ ، وَالسَّلامَةِ ، وَالإِسْلامِ ، وَرِضْوَانٍ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَجَوَازٍ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ
“Aye Allah! Amn, Iman, Salamati, Islam, Rahman ki Raza Mandi Aur Shaitan se Bachao ke Sath is Saal / Maheena ko Ham Pe Dakhil Farma.” (Aameen)

Narrated by Abdullah ibn Hisham RadiyAllahu Anhu, when there is new year or new month would begin , the Sahaba (companion) of the RasoolAllah ﷺ would learn the following dua:
اللَّهُمَّ أَدْخِلْهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالأَمْنِ ، وَالإِيمَانِ ، وَالسَّلامَةِ ، وَالإِسْلامِ ، وَرِضْوَانٍ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَجَوَازٍ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ
Allahumma Adkhilhu Alaina bil Amni wal iman, Was salamati wal islam, Wa ridwanim minar Rahman, wa Jawazim minash shaitan
O Allah, bring this (month or year) upon us with security and iman, and with safety and Islam, and with the pleasure of Rahman and Protection from shaitan.

Narrated Abu Huraira RadiyAllahu Anhu: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The signs of a hypocrite are three:
❶ Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
❷ Whenever he promises, he always breaks it (his promise ).
❸ If you trust him, he proves to be dishonest. (If you keep something as a trust with him, he will not return it.)"

❷ Jab Wa’dah kare to Wadah khilafi Kare.
❸ Aur jab us ke paas Amanat Rakhwayi Jaye to us Mein Khayanat kare.”

‘A’ishah RadiyAllahu Anha said: I asked : apostle of Allah ﷺ! I have two neighbors. With which of them should I begin? He ﷺ replied: Begin with the one whose door is nearer to you."

Urdu Translation: Hazarat Aishah RadiyAllahu Anha Farmati hain ke Main ne Nabi Akram ﷺ se Arz kiya: Ya RasoolAllah! Mere 2 Padosi hain, Main in mein se Kise Hadya Bhejun? Aap ﷺ ne Irshad Farmaya: “Donon Mein se Jis ka Darwazah Tumhare Zyadah Qareeb ho.”
